Robbie Frylinck, the star man as Chittagong Vikings charged up the table, suffered an injury against Rangpur Riders and has not played since. The Vikings made just once change to the starting XI last time out, as Nazmul Hossain Milon replaced Shadman Islam – meaning Cameron Delport returned, successfully, to the top of the batting order.

Mushfiqur Rahim’s 24-ball 43 in the win against Dhaka Dynamites moved him third in the run-scoring charts for BPL 2019 – he has hit 370 runs in 11 innings, including three half-centuries.
He was out-scored last time by Cameron Delport, who hit 71 to move to 204 runs and show signs his best form is returning. He has also picked up seven wickets. Delport opens the batting with Mohammad Shahzad, who has 270 runs so far despite not yet passing 50 in any of his 11 innings.Yasir Ali, who hit 78 against Rangpur Riders and 58 against Rajshahi Kings in back-to-back innings, has scored 272 runs but from just nine innings.
With Robbie Frylinck absent, having starred with bat and ball, the bowling attack has been led by Abu Jayed, who took 3-25 last time out and now has 18 wickets in the tournament, and Khaled Ahmed, who has 14 from 11 matches.

Chittagong ended a three-match losing streak last time out, having previously won five in a row before their form dipped in Chittagong.
Mushfiqur Rahim had originally put them top of the league when he scored an unbeaten 64 from 46 balls in a five-wicket win against Rajshahi Kings. The form did not last, however, as they conceded 239 against Rangpur Riders next up and Yasir Ali’s 48-ball 78 was only enough to help the Vikings to 167/8.
They got closer when asked to chase Rajshahi Kings’ 198/5, as Ali hit another quick-fire half-century, but they could only reach 191/8.
The next game was much lower-scoring, as the Vikings were restricted to 116/8 against Comilla Victorians and lost by seven wickets in just 16.4 overs, but they got back to winning ways against Dhaka Dynamites. Cameron Delport top-scored with 71 from 57 balls and the Dynamites – with Abu Jayed claiming 3-25 – could only reach 163/9.

Nicolas Pooran hammered his highest score of the season so far last time out, smashing six fours and six sixes in his unbeaten 76 from 31 balls. That was his third half-century of the tournament and moved him second in the run-scoring charts with 379 runs.
Sabbir Rahman and Afif Hossain have both contributed useful runs, meanwhile. Rahman’s 45 last time out followed 44 not out against the Khulna Titans and he has 244 runs from 11 innings, while Hossain has 247.
Jason Roy will hope to show more of the form he showed after flying in to replace David Warner – scoring 42 from 28 balls in his first game. He was also in good form in his prior engagements – the T10 League and England’s tour of Sri Lanka.
Sylhet Sixers boast the leading wicket-taker in the tournament so far, meanwhile. Taskin Ahmed took one of his two four-wicket hauls when the Sixers beat the Vikings earlier in the tournament and he has 21 from 11 matches in total so far.
Sohail Tanvir, meanwhile, took 2-27 last time out to move to six wickets in his last three games and nine in total this season. Alok Kapali has 13 in 11 games.

After three consecutive defeats, Sylhet Sixers recovered with back-to-back wins but their hopes of reaching the play-offs are now over after losing to Rajshahi Kings last time out.
The turnaround in form started in the previous game against the Kings – Jason Roy scoring 42 from 28 balls before three wickets apiece for Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Nawaz helped the Sixers rip through the Rajshahi line-up to bowl them out for 104 and seal a 76-run win.They then followed that up against Khulna Titans – Afif Hossain, Sabbir Rahman and Nawaz all scoring useful runs in a total of 195/4. Nabil Samad then claimed 3-20 as the Titans were dismissed for just 137.
Nicolas Pooran lifted the Kings to 189/5 against Rajshahi last time out, scoring six fours and six sixes in his unbeaten 76, but the Kings stormed home with two overs to spare to claim a five-wicket win.
