As ever, Chittagong Vikings have kept changes to a minimum. Last time out, Najbullah Zadran replaced Dasun Shanaka in the batting line-up in the only change from the win against Dhaka. His handy 23 from 19 balls should be enough to retain his place.

Mushfiqur Rahim hit his third half-century of BPL 2019, finishing unbeaten on 64 from 46 balls in the six-wicket win last time out. He now has 277 runs from seven innings and sat second in the run-scoring charts at the end of the third phase of fixtures.

Rahim was the match-winner last time out, but Robbie Frylinck stole the show when these teams last met, in the opening game of the tournament. The South African all-rounder took 4-14 from his four overs to bowl the Riders out for 98 and then hit the winning runs off the first ball of the final over.

His performances then got better and better – he now has 12 wickets in total, while his late hitting has been key. He top-scored with an unbeaten 44 against Sylhet Sixers, then hit two sixes in the final over against Khulna Titans as the game was tied – Frylinck batting and bowling in the successful Super Over. He then hit the winning six with two balls to spare against Comilla Victorians and his unbeaten 25 against Dhaka Dynamites included three sixes in the final over in another last-over win.At the top of the order, meanwhile, are Mohammad Shahzad and Cameron Delport. Shahzad has made some useful starts without yet passing 50, while Delport impressed with bat and ball – he took 3-25 in the win against Dhaka Dynamites before scoring 30 from 12 balls.

Khaled Ahmed now has 11 wickets in the tournament after his 2-30 last time out, meanwhile, and Abu Jayed claimed his tenth wicket in the win against Rangpur Riders too.

Chittagong Vikings have won their last five in a row (four if you discount the tie and Super Over success against Khulna Titans that started this run). Since Robbie Frylinck’s heroics in the final over and the Super Over of that game, the Vikings have claimed some thrilling wins.

Mushfiqur Rahim’s 75 from 41 balls powered the pursuit of 185 to beat Comilla Victorians, before Frylinck’s six with two balls to spare sealed a four-wicket win, before another Rahim half-century and Yasir Ali’s 54 helped the Vikings set 214/4 in a 26-run defeat of Sylhet Sixers.Against rivals for first place Dhaka Dynamites, Cameron Delport (3-25), Frylinck (2-19) and Abu Jayed (2-26) restricted the opposition to just 139/9. Slow scoring in the middle overs looked like it would cost the Vikings, however, until Frylinck smashed 25 from ten balls – including three sixes in the final over – to claim a three-wicket win with one ball to spare.

Last time out, the Vikings claimed another last-over win. Rahim scored an unbeaten 64 from 46 balls and Mosaddek Hossain backed him with 43 from 26 in a six-wicket win, with two balls remaining.
