Who will win Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, Final T20?
Hosts and group winners Bangladesh take on Afghanistan in the final of the 2019-20 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series, which has seen the two teams join Zimbabwe in this T20i challenge. The final will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka, on September 24 and is scheduled to start at 18:30 local time.
The Tigers topped the group with three wins from four games, including their Shakib Al Hasan-inspired four-wicket win against Afghanistan last time out. The captain and star all-rounder took his 350th T20 wicket and then recaptured his best batting form with 70* from 45 balls.
Afghanistan had rotated their squad for that game, however, having secured their place in the final by winning their first two matches. Mohammad Nabi had starred in the win against the Tigers. Back to full strength, they will be hoping to sign off with a win, recapturing the form that saw them win 12 T20i matches in a row before these two most recent defeats.

BAN vs AFG Weather Report
There is a around a 50/50 chance of rain in overcast, humid Dhaka on Tuesday – as is the case for most of the week – with scattered thunderstorms potentially on the cards too.
BAN vs AFG Pitch Condition
Dhaka has been a good wicket for batting, though the success of Shakib Al Hasan at this ground historically and, looking at previous results in this series, of the spinners on show there too, it will clearly spin.

Despite his impressive debut, Aminul Islam missed out last time out. He could be one of the players in line for a recall, but the Tigers opted for full strength in their most recent match so they may just as easily stick with the same 11.
BAN Key Players
Shakib Al Hasan: Figures of 1-24 last time out took him to 350 T20 wickets and continued his good bowling form, and then he recaptured his best touch with the bat as he led the chase with 70* from 45 balls. The captain hit nine of his team’s 11 boundaries in total.
Mohammad Saifuddin: Took 4-33 when these teams last met in Dhaka, and claimed 1-23 in their most recent game too, in Chittagong. He has seven wickets in total at this series.
Mahmudullah: On a personal level, the most recent game was one to forget – an expensive over with the ball followed by failing to get going with the bat. His two previous innings had showed his batting form, however, and he can certainly recapture that.
BAN Team Form
Bangladesh finished the group stage in top form, winning their final two games. They bowled Zimbabwe out for 136 in the first of them, after posting 175/7 from their 20 overs, before Shakib Al Hasan took centre-stage last time out.
Against Afghanistan, Shakib took his 350th T20 wicket as the tourists were held to 138/7. In reply, the Tigers’ captain then followed his new bowling milestone with a thumping 70* from 45 balls to ensure his team sealed a four-wicket win with an over to spare.
Bangladesh Predicted Playing 11
Liton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan (c), Mahmudullah, Sabbir Rahman, Afif Hossain, Aminul Islam, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman

Afghanistan handed a third player their T20i debut in this tournament when Naveen-ul-Haq followed Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Fazal Niazai in winning their first caps. Naveen staked his claim with some good bowling too, so he may just get another chance in the final.
AFG Key Players
Mujeeb Ur Rahman: His two bowling performances against Bangladesh in the group stage saw him take 4-15 at Dhaka and 1-19 last time out. The teenager also took 2-28 in the match against Zimbabwe in between.
Rashid Khan: Took two wickets apiece in the two games against Bangladesh and has six wickets in total, proving why he is regarded the best in the world.
Mohammad Nabi: Smashed 84* when these teams last met, following up his 38 from the first game, and the all-rounder will be keen to get back to that excellent form.
AFG Team Form
Afghanistan’s 12-match winning streak, including the first two games of this series, has been ended by back-to-back defeats against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. Already assured of a place in this final, they failed to defend 155/8 after Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s half-century against Zimbabwe, and then lost after posting 138/7 against Bangladesh.
Afghanistan Predicted Playing 11
Hazratullah Zazai, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Shafiqullah, Najibullah Zadran, Gulbadin Naib, Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Nabi, Karim Janat, Rashid Khan (c), Naveen-ul-Haq, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman
Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Head to Head
Bangladesh’s win last time out was only their second in six previous games against Afghanistan. The Tigers had previously lost the last four in a row, including their last meeting in Dhaka when Mohammad Nabi (84*) helped Afghanistan to 164/6 and Mujeeb Ur Rahman (4-15) was the pick of the bowlers as Bangladesh folded for 139.
Last time out, however, Afghanistan posted just 138/7 and, in reply, Shakib Al Hasan led the chase as he hit 70* from 45 balls. Bangladesh won by four wickets with an over to spare.
