Who will win Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, 6th T20?
The two finalists of the 2019-20 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series will first face-off in a dress rehearsal for that game at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong. The final league game between hosts Bangladesh and Afghanistan will take place on September 21, and the live action is set to begin at 18:30 local time.
Afghanistan have already beaten the Tigers once, bowling the hosts out for 139 to record their 12 consecutive T20i win – a new record. They lost last time out, however, to Zimbabwe in Hamilton Masakadza’s final international. Afghanistan could look to experiment with their line-up again for this one.
Bangladesh have also mixed things up, and beat Zimbabwe last time out to bounce back from their defeat to Afghanistan. They have more potential debutants in their squad, and the Tigers could mix things up before returning to full strength for the Dhaka final.

BAN vs AFG Toss Prediction
Afghanistan have won the toss in each of their last two matches and elected to bat first, whereas Bangladesh fielded first the only time they have won the toss. If the Tigers win the toss this time, it could still be Afghanistan batting first.
BAN vs AFG Weather Report
With isolated thunderstorms forecast, there is a lot of humidity around in Chittagong and a 30 per cent chance of rain through the evening. Temperatures will stay hot and sticky throughout.
BAN vs AFG Pitch Condition
Chittagong favoured pace off in the last match, between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. It has served up something for the spinners before, but the batsmen should enjoy it too if they can get settled.

BAN Team News
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Aminul Islam stepped straight into the team after being called up for the second half of this tournament, and both made their T20i debuts last time out. Shaiful Islam also came into the team, and it could be the turn of Rubel Hossain and Mohammad Naim to stake their claims for T20 World Cup selection this time.
BAN Key Players
Aminul Islam: The teenage leg-spinner announced himself in style, taking 2-18 from his four overs on his T20 international debut last time out. He has proved himself handy with the bat in domestic cricket too.
Shakib Al Hasan: His batting has not been up to his usual standard so far in this series, but the all-rounder – Bangladesh’s finest – has taken 2-18 and 1-28 in the last two matches to at least recapture some of his top bowling form. His next wicket will be his 350th in T20 cricket.
Mahmudullah: Scored 44 when these two teams last met and then added 62 last time out too. The latter came from 41 balls and included five sixes.
BAN Team Form
Bangladesh ensured they will finish in the top two and contest the Tri-Nation Series final thanks to two wins against Zimbabwe. They won the first by three wickets, with two balls to spare, chasing 145 in an 18-over game.
They then beat Zimbabwe by 39 runs last time out, bowling them out for 136 after Mahmudullah’s 62 had helped them to 172/7. It was the response they needed to being bowled out for 139 themselves in a 25-run defeat to Afghanistan in their previous game.
Bangladesh Predicted Playing 11
Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mohammad Naim, Shakib Al Hasan (c), Mahmudullah, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Aminul Islam, Afif Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman

AFG Team News
Fazal Niazai made his Afghanistan T20i debut last time out, while Rahmanullah Gurbaz has already made his bow behind the stumps. Like Bangladesh, with the final offering an extra chance to play their full team, there could be rotation for this one. That would mean an extra chance for Niazai after he failed to make a telling impact last time out.
AFG Key Players
Mujeeb Ur Rahman: After match-wining figures of 4-15 when these teams last met, the 18-year-old off-spinner added 2-28 last time out.
Rashid Khan: Fresh from his 21st birthday, the leg-spinner is not only the number one bowler in T20i cricket but now Afghanistan captain too. He has taken four wickets so far at a good economy rate.
Mohammad Nabi: Fell short last time out but his best form was there for all to see in the first two games – thumping 38 and 84* in the first two matches. He is always an extra spin-bowling option with the ball too.
AFG Team Form
Afghanistan stretched their T20i winning streak to 12 games with victories in their first two matches in Dhaka. They lost last time out, however, to Zimbabwe. They won by 28 runs against Zimbabwe and 25 against Bangladesh in their first two matches, before posting 155/8 last time out – as Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 61 from 47 balls. Mujeeb Ur Rahman claimed 2-28 in reply, but Zimbabwe won by seven wickets with three balls to spare.
Afghanistan Predicted Playing 11
Hazratullah Zazai, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Shafiqullah, Shahidullah, Gulbadin Naib, Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Nabi, Fazal Niazai, Rashid Khan (c), Fareed Ahmad, Mujeeb-ur-Rahma
Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Head to Head
Afghanistan’s win in Dhaka was their fourth in five previous T20i matches against Bangladesh. Mohammad Nabi took four wickets when they whitewashed the Tigers 3-0 in a series in 2018, but it was with the bat he starred last time out – smashing 84* from 54 balls in a total of 164/6. In reply, Mujeeb Ur Rahman claimed 4-15 to bowl the Tigers out for 139.
