Australia Team News & Playing 11
AUS Team News
Australia have called up pace bowler Jason Behrendorff and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis to their 13-man T20I squad while deciding to rest their test regulars Nathan Lyon, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Starc and Mitchell Marsh to keep the quartet fresh for the forthcoming test series against India. Stoinis had missed the one-off T20 international against Pakistan in the UAE due to a hamstring injury.
AUS Key Players
Aaron Finch is the world's second-best batsman in T20 cricket. The Australian skipper has scored the most runs for the team in this format after David Warner and he will be expected to come out all guns blazing. His opening partner Chris Lynn had a quiet ODI series and the hosts will want him to perform well in his favorite format. Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis are the other hard-hitters in this batting line-up. Stoinis finished as the best bowler at the end of the ODI series with eight wickets at an economy of 5.67 and he will be among the key men for Australia with the ball as well. Billy Stanlake and Andrew Tye are featuring in the list of top ten T20I bowlers. The latter, with 33 wickets in 22 matches, has taken the most wickets for his side in T20Is from the current squad and is more likely to grab the best figures in this match.
AUS Recent Form
Australia, out of the 15 T20 internationals they have played this year, have won 9 and lost 6. Their most recent T20I assignment came last month in the UAE - a three-match series which they ended up losing 0-3. Prior to that whitewash, the Aussies lost a one-off game against England, then lost to Pakistan in the final of theZimbabwe tri-series before thrashing UAE by seven wickets at Abu Dhabi.

South Africa Team News & Playing 11
SA Team News
Faf du Plessis will be leading South Africa's 15-man squad for this solitary T20 international against Australia. Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks are likely to continue to open the batting for the Proteas with Aiden Markram to come in next at number three. All-rounder Chris Morris, who did not get to feature in any of the preceding three ODIs, is expected to be a part of the starting eleven for this game. Hashim Amla and JP Duminy, who were earlier ruled out of the ODI series due to respective injuries, will miss this T20I as well.
SA Key Players
Faf du Plessis and David Miller were South Africa's best batsmen in the ODIs with 182 and 192 runs respectively. Both smashed a ton each in the final ODI and the team will be hoping for a similar performance from them on Saturday. Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen both scored in 40s in the recent T20 practice match against Cricket Australia XI and they will look to carry that form into this match. South Africa's pace attack will rely mainly on Kagiso Rabada and Dale Steyn while Imran Tahir will be their go-to man when it comes to spin. Tahir is currently the team's best bowler in the shortest format with 60 wickets in 34 matches and the leg-spinner is more likely to cause problems for the Australian batsmen who are not that comfortable against spin. Rabada, however, stands as the visitors' best bet to strike early with the new ball.
SA Recent Form
South Africa have won six and lost four of their last ten T20 internationals. They have three wins and as many losses from the six matches they have played so far this year. After sweeping Bangladesh 2-0 at home last year in October, the Proteas faced a 1-2 defeat in the home series against India, lost a one-off match to Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka and then beat Zimbabwe 2-0 at home last month in their previous T20I series.
South Africa Predicted Playing 11
Quinton de Kock (wk), Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram, Faf du Plessis (c), David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn, Lungi Ngidi, Imran Tahir
