Adelaide Strikers delivered a top class bowling performance to bowl out Melbourne Renegades for 111 in their last match. Wes Agar and Peter Siddle were the stars of the match, picking up three wickets each.
Rashid Khan has also picked up the momentum in the last few games which is a very positive sign for Adelaide Strikers.
Strikers shuffled their batting order and and opened with Matt Renshaw while Jake Weatherald was demoted to the middle order. The change did wonders as both Renshaw and Weatherald batted beautifully. Alex Carey also got some runs and continued his good form.
Philip Salt, however, is a big disappointing and is not learning from the mistake.
Overall, their are still some issues in their batting but Adelaide Strikers look a very strong team.
Melbourne Renegades on the other hand are really struggling with their batting. Shaun Marsh has been the only bright spot in a rather miserable tournament. He missed the last match due to the niggle but he’s expected to be back for this match.
The bowling has been good on occasions but they’ve always been short on runs. Kane Richardson, Mohammad Nabi, Josh Lalor, Imad Wasim, and Jack Prestwodge are part of a good bowling attack but they’ll need their batsmen to step up if they’re to pull off an upset.
