MI New York would like to get the MLC campaign off to a winning start. The team has some of the biggest names in world cricket, including the likes of Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Tim David, Jason Behrendorff and Kagiso Rabada.
San Francisco Unicorns are also laced with multiple match winners, with Finn Allen, Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade, Corey Anderson, Marcus Stoinis, and Haris Rauf among several other big names. The match is all set to be a thrilling affair. San Francisco will start at flight favourites given their superior bowling attack.
The first match played at the venue saw Super Kings score 181, showing that the surface will be a great pitch for batting. However, if the bowlers put the ball in the right slot, they can trouble the batters.
Rain is not a threat in Dallas at this time of the year. The temperature will hover around 40 degrees while the humidity will be on the higher side.

Nicholas Pooran comes into the tournament with some decent form. He had a top run in the IPL 2023 and then did well in the 50-over World Cup qualifiers where he scored 350 runs in 7 games.
David Weise is a very underrated player, but he always does well for whichever team he plays for. Weise brings a lot to the table as he can open the bowling as well as bowl at the death. He is someone who can hit the ball long or can drop anchor when the team needs to save wickets.
Another destructive Australian who can turn the game on his head. Wade does not play a lot of franchise cricket, but he has all the skills to be very successful in the format.
Pakistan gun pacer Haris Rauf will pose a serious threat to the MI New York batters owing to his ability to bowl at a searing pace. Rauf is a genuine wicket-taking option for the team.
The big-hitting all-rounder from Australia showed brutal form in the IPL 2023 and played some whirlwind knocks for Lucknow Super Giants. Stoinis will be eyeing a good show in the Major League Cricket.
