LSG had a good start to their IPL season as they defeated Delhi Capitals by 50 runs. However, they suffered a close loss to Chennai Super Kings in their next game. The team was set to chase down the target of 218 set by CSK but a collapse saw them lose by 12 runs.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their opening game to Rajasthan Royals by 73 runs. Chasing a target of 294, SRH could only make 131/8 in 20 overs. The good news for SRH is that Captain Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and Marco Jansen will be back for them and will add a lot of power to the middle order.
The wicket is a good one to bat with plenty of runs stored in it. LSG posted nearly 200 runs in the last game played here and once again a high-scoring game can be on the cards.
It will a clear day with temperatures rising to 31 degrees. The evening temperature can come down to 19 degrees.

Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and Marco Jansen will return to the Sunrisers Hyderabad team after missing the first game. For Lucknow, Quinton Kock will return but given Kyle Mayers show in the first two games, he may have to sit out unless LSG opt to drop Marcus Stoinis.
LSG and SRH have played only one game against each other and KL Rahul’s team emerged victorious in the only clash.

What a find Kyle Mayers has been for LSG and what impact he has made to the team. Mayers has scored two fifties in two games and that too at a blistering strike rate, putting Lucknow ahead early in the match. He has also contributed with the ball and is a wicket-taker on his day.
KL Rahul has failed in both LSG matches so far but he has been very consistent in IPL over the years and it won’t be long before he finds his form and dominate the teams with his classy knocks.
Aiden Markram will return to the SRH team, having missed the first game due to national commitment. Markram comes into the tournament after a stellar show in recent international series and will look to continue the form in IPL.
Washington Sundar can be a key player for SRH. He is a good spinner and keeps things tight. He often bowls in the powerplay and picks wickets. He is good with the bat and adds depth to the team he plays for.
Mark Wood was in ruthless form in the last game against Delhi Capitals and picked 5 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs to leave the hosts stunned.
