Zimbabwe will take on Namibia in the third game of a five-match IT20 series. The game will be played at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo starting at 13:00 local time on Saturday May 21st.

After narrowly winning the opening IT20 game of the series on Tuesday, the hosts were well beaten by Namibia by 8 wickets with 12 balls remaining on Thursday. Zimbabwe’s total of 122-8 from 20 overs was always going to be too little and it was only runs from the lower-middle order which rescued the side from 49-5 in the 12th over. Namibia bounced back from their defeat in the first IT20 and were far and away the best team in Thursday’s clash. The visitors have put in two very good performances so far and they can expect to push Zimbabwe all the way in the remaining games of the series. Thursday’s victory was setup by some excellent new ball bowling from David Wiese who dismissed Regis Chakabva, captain Craig Ervine and Tony Munyonga. With the bat, opener Craig Williams hit 62 not-out from 53 balls.
