Spanga United vs Stockholm Super Kings, ECS T10 League - Stockholm
The Shield Final, to decide fifth place in the Dream 11 ECS Botkyrka, Stockholm T10 tournament sees Spanga United take on Stockholm Super Kings. The match, at the Karsby Cricket Centre, takes place on July 10 and the live action starts at 14:00 local time.
Stockholm Super Kings were the more impressive of the two in the group stage, seeing off Stockholm International CC and, most recently, Varmdo CC to finish third in the group. Defeats to Djurgardens and Marsta cost them a semi-final place, however.
Spanga United, on the other hand, went into the final day of group stage action without a win, but victory against Stockholm Tigers and then a strong batting performance against Nacka CC in their final defeat were enough to see them finish third on net run rate.

SUN Team News
Pubudu Keppetiyawa missed out again on the final day due to illness so Spanga United may go with the team that secured their only win of the tournament. That would mean Lalindra Chandraratne opening and Thilina Warnakulasuriya behind the stumps.
SUN Key Players
- Faisal Azeem: His 33 from 18 balls at the top of the innings last time took him to 113 runs across the four group matches, showing great top-order form. He is also a key bowler.
- Janaka Johannes: Bowled well across the final day, taking 3-13 in the first game and the only Nacka wicket to fall in the second.
- Tasal Siddiqi: Runs at the top of the order, albeit too slowly, in the second game and he followed that up with 31* from 12 balls at the end of the innings last time out.
SUN Team Form
Faisal Azeem scored in the 30s in three of the four group matches, so it is ironic really that the captain’s lowest score came in their only win. They started the final day by posting 97/8 against Stockholm Tigers as Janaka Johannes smashed 31* from nine at the end, including sixes off each of the last two balls. He then took three wickets as they restricted the Tigers to 83/8.
In the final game, they failed to defend 122/6, after Azeem and Tasal Siddiqi both made top contributions, as they lost to Nacka CC by nine wickets, but it was enough to ensure they finished third on net run rate.
