Sri Lanka and England face-off for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup’s consolation prize, of ninth place – the top team not to reach the quarter-finals – when they meet in the 9th-place play-off. The match takes place at Willowmoore Park, Benoni, on February 3 and the live action gets underway at 10:00 local time.
England fell short in their group after defeats to West Indies and Australia, but they have since beaten Nigeria, Japan and latterly Zimbabwe to reach this play-off. George Hill hit 90 from 93 balls in a 75-run win against Zimbabwe most recently.
