South Africa are favorites to win
South Africa secured a thrilling seven-run win in the second T20 international at Johannesburg to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-game series. Pakistan will now look to salvage some pride when the two countries face each other in the inconsequential third and final T20I on February 6 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 PM local time.

Toss will be key at the SuperSport Park. Since five out of the seven one-day internationals played at this ground have been won by the side batting first, the team that wins the toss here on Wednesday will probably want to bat first and put the scoreboard pressure on the opposition.

South Africa made a couple of changes to their side for the second T20 international at Johannesburg. They brought in batsman Janneman Malan as a replacement for the rested Faf du Plessis and fast bowler Lutho Sipamla for wicketkeeper-batsman Gihahn Cloete. The Proteas will continue to be led by stand-in skipper David Miller and we expect them to go into this game with an unchanged line-up.
South Africa's batting will rely mainly on Reeza Hendricks, Rassie van der Dussen, Heinrich Klaasen and skipper David Miller. Hendricks and Miller starred with the bat in the first and second T20Is respectively and the hosts will be expecting strong contributions from them once again. Klaasen has a fifty in the only T20I he has played at this ground and the onus will be on him to anchor the middle order. Andile Phehlukwayo, Chris Morris and Beuran Hendricks have been the most impressive of the South African bowlers. Hendricks and Morris have both taken four wickets apiece in the series and it will be crucial that they strike early with the new ball. Phehlukwayo is coming off a three-wicket haul and he will be backed by his team to pick wickets once again.
South Africa have now won six and lost three out of the nine T20 internationals they have played since last year. The seven-run victory in the last game at Johannesburg means that they have now won their last five T20Is on the trot. The Proteas have been very impressive with the bat in this series having scored over 180 in both the matches.

Shoaib Malik will continue to lead Pakistan in the absence of regular skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed who has returned home following his four-match suspension imposed by the ICC. The visitors made just one change in their line-up for the previous game, bringing left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi in place of Faheem Ashraf who was very expensive in the first T20I. Afridi had a good outing with the ball last time and he will probably be retained.
Babar Azam, Hussain Talat and Shoaib Malik have all had good hits in the series, and with Fakhar Zaman struggling to find form, Pakistan will need at least two of them to play the big innings on Wednesday. Malik scored 49 at Cape Town while Babar and Talat struck half-centuries at Johannesburg. Babar blitzed a 58-ball 90 last time and the team will want him to repeat his heroics at Centurion. Among the bowlers, Usman Shinwari, Imad Wasim and Hasan Ali seem to be the main threats for the South African batsmen. Imad has been very economical in both the matches and he will look to create pressure on the Proteas from one end. Shinwari, who took a three-wicket haul in the first game, went for plenty in the second but the pacer is expected to bounce back with a good bowling performance.
Pakistan's winning streak of 11 T20 international series came to an end when they were pipped by South Africa in the second match of the ongoing series. This is just their fourth loss in the last 21 T20Is they have played since last year. Though their batting has clicked in this series, the visitors will not be pleased with their bowling effort as they have allowed the hosts to rack up huge totals on both occasions.

South Africa have now played thirteen T20 internationals against Pakistan and have emerged victorious on eight occasions.
South Africa have won four of the last five matches they have played against Pakistan in the twenty-over format.
The two countries have met just once at the SuperSport Park in a T20I. The match was played in March 2013 with Pakistan winning by 95 runs.
Matches Played: 13; South Africa Won: 8; Pakistan Won: 5
Pakistan are favorites amongst the bookmakers to win the third T20 international and are being offered at odds of 1.80 on Bet365 and 1.90 on Betfair. South Africa are the underdogs at a slightly higher price of 2 on Bet365 and 1.97 on Betfair. Betway, however, is offering odds of 1.83 on both the teams to win this match.
South Africa managed to end Pakistan's incredible winning streak of eleven T20I series in the last match at Johannesburg. The Proteas will be upbeat after having clinched the series against the No. 1 T20 team despite being without Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla and skipper Faf du Plessis. Pakistan won't be too disappointed with themselves as both the matches were closely fought. They will also gain some confidence from the fact that they have beaten South Africa in the only T20I against them at this venue. The hosts, however, have shown better composure so far in the series which is why we are backing them to complete a 3-0 clean sweep.
