After finishing 3rd in 2019 and 2nd in 2020, Delhi Capitals would surely have become IPL champions by now if it weren’t for Mumbai Indians. They are a consistent team and looked very strong against CSK.

Riyan Parag showed his capability as a finisher when he hit 3 sixes in the short stay at the crease in the game against Punjab Kings. Sanju Samson was batting brilliantly at one end and he needed an able partner as the run rate was mounting. The fearless approach by the youngster helped release pressure from Samson in the run chase which they eventually lost by 4 runs. As said by Parag he is looking for finishing the game as he is batting in the middle order and he would not get enough time in the middle. He would look to add crucial 20-30 runs and not think about his personal milestones. Thus he has evolved his game as a hard-hitting batsman to meet the team requirements and give valuable contributions.
