Punjab Lions vs Nicosia Tigers, ECS T10 League - Cyprus
High-flying Punjab Lions will bid to record yet another win against Nicosia Tigers as they look to continue their fine form at the ECS Cyprus T10 tournament. The favourites meet the 2019 national T20 champions at the Ypsonas Cricket Ground, Limassol, on July 23 and the live action starts at 11:00 local time.
The Lions won three from three on Wednesday after the tournament was hastily re-drawn, taking them to seven consecutive wins in ECS T10 cricket. That included a dominant win against Nicosia Tigers, as Mangala Gunasekara (63) and Kulwinder Singh (53) helped fire them to 160/3 and a 55-run victory.
Nicosia Tigers’ defeat in that game was one of two on the day as their bowlers suffered against Cyprus Moufflons and the Lions. They had previously lost three from four in the original tournament too.
