Prague Barbarians Vandals suffered two defeats in their two matches on day one, both from the last ball. Honey Gori and Sabawoon Davizi are key players and both shone with the ball on day one, but the Vandals lost to both Bohemian CC and Brno Rangers.
Prague Spartans Vanguards, however, beat both of those teams in high-scoring games. Satyajit Sengupta hit 51 in the opening game and Kranthi Venkataswamy scored 63 in the second game as they posted 131/2 and 105/2 in their two wins.
