The Iberia Cup continues with Gibraltar playing their first ever T20 international, the day after opponents Portugal played their first game. The match, at the La Manga Club, takes place on October 26 and starts at 08:45 local time.
Portugal’s first match of the tournament was a heavy defeat to Spain after they posted just 87/7 from their 20 overs – hampered by having lost wickets in their first two balls. They will now look to bounce back with what would be their first T20 international win.
For Gibraltar, meanwhile, they have the bulk of the team which won one match in the group stage of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier Europe Region fixtures. They have not played an international match since, however.
