After a very entertaining and exciting six games, the final IT20 of the seven-game series between Pakistan and England takes place on Sunday evening in Lahore. England won the sixth match by a convincing margin of eight wickets on Friday night to level the series at 3-3 and setup this deciding fixture. Read on as we preview this game. The match gets underway at 19:30 local time at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Pakistan were nowhere near their best on Friday although captain Babar Azam produced an excellent innings. With Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf back in the team they will be very hard to beat.
England looked to be back to almost their dominant batting best in the sixth game of the series. If one of their batters can pull off another innings like Phil Salt did, we should have another excellent contest.

With the chance to complete a series victory, it was quite a surprise to see Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf (Pakistan’s leading run scorer and wicket taker) rested on Friday. Both players will come back into the side for this game and we expect Shahnawaz Dahani and Mohammad Haris to make way.
Pakistan have won two and lost two of their last four matches in the series. However, their bowling was very ineffective on Friday.

Chris Woakes and Mark Wood were both rested for Friday’s game with Reece Topley and Richard Gleeson coming back into the team. With the series still in play, we expect both Wood and Woakes to return with Gleeson and David Willey dropping out.
England avoided their third successive defeat in this series on Friday and the batting form of their top order will give the rest of the team plenty of confidence.

Although they would have lost the series with defeat on Friday, England are now level in the series and are favourites with the bookies ahead of Sunday’s decider.
