For the second ODI, however, we expect India to go in with an unchanged line-up.

Most of the Indian batsmen are in good form at the moment but the ones who New Zealand will want to get rid of early on are Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Kohli and Rohit are the top two ODI batsmen in the world and they can take the game away from the Kiwis if they get off to a decent start. Dhawan will be confident after that unbeaten 75 at Napier and so will be Dhoni who hit a half-century in each of the three matches against Australia. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami bowled well in tandem and put pressure on the hosts straight away in the last match. Shami, in particular, has been very impressive since his return in the ODI set-up and he will look to replicate his figures of 3-19. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are the middle-overs specialists for India. The spin twins shared six wickets in the first ODI and they are likely to spoil New Zealand's plans at the Bay Oval as well.
