Who will win New Zealand vs England, 3rd T20 2019?
After a win apiece in the first two matches, New Zealand and England go head-to-head again at Nelson’s Saxton Oval as both teams look to take control of the five-game T20i series. The match will take place on November 5 and the live action starts at 14:00 local time.
England, who have handed four players their T20i debuts already and have an inexperienced squad for this tour, won the first game as James Vince’s half-century led them to a seven-wicket win.
New Zealand’s total of 176/8 proved too much last time out, however – Mitchell Santner taking three wickets, for the second consecutive match in this series, as the Black Caps bowled England our for 155.

There will be some cloud cover in Nelson, and a bit of humidity, but temperatures will stick in the low 20s and there is zero chance of rain on the forecast on Tuesday.
NZ vs ENG Pitch Condition
Nelson has been a good batting wicket generally – the last time the Black Caps played at the Saxton Oval they hit 364/4 in a 50-over game. A good, consistent bounce can mean plenty of runs.

NZ Team News
Trent Boult will be rested again for this third T20i – the opening bowler is expected to return for the fourth game of the series. Kane Williamson is out with a hip injury but Jimmy Neesham returned last time out and played a big part with the bat. Scott Kuggeleijn was the man to make way.
NZ Key Players
Mitchell Santner: The spinner has taken three wickets in each of the two matches so far in this series, returning tidy figures of 3-23 and 3-25. He now has three consecutive three-wicket hauls in T20i cricket and 44 wickets in total in the format.
Martin Guptill: Showed why he is so dangerous at the top of the order as he welcomed Saqib Mahmood to international cricket with some big hitting. He blasted 41 from 28 balls to set the tone last time out.
Colin de Grandhomme: A good batting option at number four, where he hammered 28 from 12 balls last time out, a useful extra bowler if called upon and a safe pair of hands in the field – where he claimed four catches last time out.
NZ Team Form
New Zealand got back to winning ways in the second game of this series, as they bid to follow up series wins against Sri Lanka and India. Their total of 153/5 was below par in the first match, as they suffered a seven-wicket defeat, but Martin Guptill’s runs at the top of the innings and Jimmy Neesham’s at the end saw them post 176/8 last time out. Mitchell Santner then took three more wickets in reply to seal a 21-run victory.
New Zealand Predicted Playing 11
Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Tim Siefert (wk), Colin de Grandhomme, Ross Taylor, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee (c), Ish Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson
England Team News & Playing 11
ENG Team News
Saqib Mahmood was expensive on his England debut in the second match, having slotted in for Tom Curran, but Lewis Gregory took his opportunity after being handed a first bowl – taking a wicket with his first ball. Adil Rashid could make way for Matt Parkinson as England continue to look at their new options, though Curran could return.
ENG Key Players
Chris Jordan: Took his 50th wicket in T20i cricket in the last game, on his way to impressive figures of 3-23 from his four overs. It followed up his 2-28 in the first match and he then hammered 36 from 19 balls with the bat too.
James Vince: After his half-century in the first game, the England number three fell early last time out. His T20 record speaks for itself, however – his first England T20i 50 was his 33rd in total in T20 cricket.
Eoin Morgan: The England captain’s form in the shortest format continues to be excellent. So far in this series he has scored 34* from 21 balls and 32 from 17 balls, and if he can convert one of those into a big score, England will be on top.
ENG Team Form
England’s six-match winning streak in T20i cricket came to an end last time out. They had opened the series with a win, despite their inexperienced side – James Vince’s half-century leading a chase of 154 to win.
Last time out, however, wickets fell to regularly in their chase of 177 to win and England eventually fell to 155 all out despite cameos from Dawid Malan, Eoin Morgan and Chris Jordan.
England Predicted Playing 11

New Zealand vs England Head to Head
Victory in the second game of this series was New Zealand’s sixth in T20i cricket against England. England had won the previous two – a thrilling two-run win defending 194/7 in New Zealand in 2018 and the opening game of this series chasing 154.
But Martin Guptill set the tone with runs at the top of the order last time out, before Jimmy Neesham’s late cameo carried New Zealand to 176/8. In reply, Mitchell Santner’s good bowling form continued – the spinner claiming three of the ten wickets to fall, as England fell to 155 all out.
