Nepal once again failed to beat Namibia and lost the first T20I by 20 runs. Loftie Eaton smashed the fastest 100 in T20I cricket in 33 balls as Namibia posted 206-4. A couple of Nepal batters looked threatening but none played a big innings as Nepal could only score 186.

Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh and Rohit Paudel will be the main batters. Aasif failed in the first T20I but he has some form behind him and scored a couple of fifties in the preceding ODI series. Captain Paudel looked good and scored 48 in 24 balls. Bhurtel was out for a golden duck but he is a good player and will be eyeing a strong return.

Karan KC, Sompal Kami and Rohit Paudel will be the key bowlers for Nepal. Paudel also bagged a couple of wickets for 30 runs and was Nepal’s best bowler. Karan KC and Sompal Kami are the lead pacers and most of Nepal’s hopes will rest on them.
