Who will win Netherlands vs Bermuda, T20 WCQ 2019?
The Netherlands will be looking to get back to winning ways and back on track in Group A, when they face winless Bermuda at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier match takes place on October 26, and the live action is scheduled to get underway at 14:10 local time.
The Dutch won their first three matches, but defeat to Papua New Guinea last time out saw them surrender top spot. Nevertheless, they will expect nothing but a big victory against a Bermuda team that has been outclassed in Dubai.
Bermuda are bottom of the group with five defeats from five games so far. They posted their highest score of the tournament against Scotland last time out, but their total of 158/8 was still well short of their 205-run target.

Netherlands Team News & Playing 11
NED Team News
The Netherlands were unchanged last time out, but may consider a recall for the likes of Fred Klaassen and Shane Snater after defeat to Papua New Guinea. That said, this is likely to be a game for the batsmen, so they may be reluctant to change the balance of the team.
NED Key Players
Paul van Meekeren: Finished with 0-12 from his three overs last time out, having started the tournament with eight wickets in his first three matches.
Timm van der Gugten: Starting to make an impact on the tournament, having taken 3-9 against Singapore as part of his six wickets in the tournament before smashing 40* to help the Dutch recover from a poor start last time out.
Max O’Dowd: With a batting-friendly wicket expected, this is a big chance for big-hitting Max O’Dowd to add to his five T20i half-centuries. His 770 runs in 30 T20i innings have been scored at a strike rate of 122.22.
NED Team Form
The Netherlands won their first three consecutive matches, seeing off Kenya, Namibia – who they bowled out for 96 – and Singapore, who they skittled for 101.
Their batting fell short against Papua New Guinea, however. A late charge from Timm van der Gugten lifted them from a mire to 126/7, but it was still too low – the Dutch falling to a five-wicket defeat with an over to spare.
Netherlands Predicted Playing 11
Max O’Dowd, Tim Visee, Ben Cooper, Colin Ackermann, Ryan ten Doeschate, Pieter Seelaar (c), Roelof van der Merwe, Scott Edwards (wk), Brandon Glover, Timm van der Gugten, Paul van Meekeren
Bermuda Team News & Playing 11
BER Team News
Rodney Trott has taken over the Bermudan captaincy, though Dion Stovell returned to the team last time out. George O’Brien was also recalled but there was no place for veteran Janeiro Tucker. With nothing but pride to play for, Bermuda have been happy to experiment in recent matches and that could continue.
BER Key Players
Kamau Leverock: Two wickets last time out took him to seven in his last three games, while he also finally issued a reminder of what he can do with the bat as he scored an unbeaten 43 down the order.
Delray Rawlins: The big-hitting Sussex all-rounder has showcased his batting at times in this tournament but the 22-year-old needs to bring his spin bowling up to match and do it consistently if he is to become a top all-rounder. He has 115 runs in this tournament.
Allan Douglas: Bermuda would have had a better balance to their team if Douglas had been able to match his form in the final Americas Region qualifier. Against the Cayman Islands he took 5-18 and then hit 47*, showing what he is capable of on his day.
BER Team Form
Dismal defeats to Papua New Guinea, Kenya and Namibia, in among losses to Singapore and now Scotland have left Bermuda bottom of the table with no points. After posting just 106/9 on their way to their fourth defeat – a six-wicket loss to Namibia – they were set 205 to beat Scotland last time out. It was no surprise they got nowhere near, but a score of 158/8 was still their best of the tournament so far.
Bermuda Predicted Playing 11
Okera Bascombe, Terryn Fray, Dion Stovell, Delray Rawlins, Deunte Darrell, Allan Douglas, Kamau Leverock, Malachi Jones, Rodney Trott (c), George O’Brien, Sinclair Smith (wk)
Netherlands vs Bermuda Head to Head
This will be the first T20 international between Bermuda and the Netherlands.
🏆 Netherlands vs Bermuda Prediction
The Netherlands’ momentum was halted against Papua New Guinea, but they should bounce back and do so comfortably against winless Bermuda.
Final Verdict: Back Netherlands to beat Bermuda.
