Madurai Panthers are favorites to win
Defending champions Siechem Madurai Panthers will look to get back to winning ways when they face VB Kanchi Veerans at Tirunelveli on July 28. The live action begins at 15:15 local time.

Live streaming: Hotstar
The toss could be hugely important at Tirunelveli with teams batting first tending to do well. VB Kanchi Veerans have batted first in both matches so far, so Baba Aparajith will be keen to keep that going.
With less cloud than in previous days, the temperatures are set to stay high in Tirunelveli. Once again, there has been no chance of rain forecast.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast at the Indian Cement Company Ground over the weekend, the wicket will be a used one – though it will at least have had overnight to recover.

After Jabez Moses came in for some punishment with the ball last time out, he could make way again for Lokesh Raj. Moses was the only player to come in from the opening win.
KB Arun Karthik: The captain led from the front in the opening game, hitting 65 from 42 balls at the top of the order as the Madurai Panthers got off to a winning start. He added another 24 runs last time to prove he is in good touch.
L Kiran Akash: The right-arm paceman has been in good form so far, taking 3-16 in the opening game and 2-33 in the second. That is already as many wickets as the 22-year-old managed in last season’s tournament.
R Mithun: The off-spinner claimed 3-17 in the opening game and then showed his big-hitting capabilities with the bat last time as he blasted a quick-fire 20 in a losing cause.

They fell short last time out, however, as they conceded 182/6 against Dindigul Dragons. In reply, the Madurai Panthers could only reach 152/9.

R Sanjay Yadav: Pushed up the order after scoring 31 from 23 balls in the first game and responded by hitting seven fours and six sixes on his way to 95 from 60 balls. He then capped a fine game by picking up a wicket with the ball too.
