It has been a frustrating start to the campaign for Limpopo who have had both of their games abandoned so far. As a result, there is huge pressure on this match which could be their only game of the tournament.

Left-hander Liam Peters is expected to bat high up the order for Limpopo and his attacking intent will be crucial for the side. Alongside him, Ruan Haasbroek has a good strike-rate in this format and if he can hang around for at least three overs then a big score will not be far away.

This wicket has been undercover for the best part of two days and there will certainly be some movement for the pace and spin bowlers if they can pitch the ball in the correct areas. Captain Thomas Hobson has best figures of 2-19 in this format.

Limpopo were very poor last year and will be desperate to put in a performance in this game.

Northern Cape

Northern Cape have also seen both of their matches, against Eastern Cape on Friday and South Western Districts on Sunday, called off so far in the tournament. Their batters and bowlers will need to produce immediately when they get the chance in this match.

NC Batting

26 year old right-handed batter Rivaldo Moonsamy has scored seven domestic centuries but is yet to transform this consistency to T20 cricket. However, we expect him to bat in a more aggressive manner this year and he is more than capable of big scores.

NC Bowling

Northern Cape have some excellent options and depth in the spin bowling department, but it may well be their pace bowlers who carry the main threat on this wicket on Sunday.

Northern Cape have put together an encouraging squad for this season but we are yet to see them in action.
