Toss Prediction
Five of the last seven one-day internationals played at the Civil Service Cricket Club have been won by the side batting first. Since the wicket here is expected to offer more assistance to the bowlers during the second period of play, the toss-winning captain is more likely to bat first.

Ireland Team News & Playing 11
IRE Team News
David Delany has been released from the ODI squad due to hamstring injury and he has been replaced by bowler Josh Little who, if picked for this game, will make his ODI debut. Ireland are coming on the back of a win and so they may not want to make any changes to their side for this series decider.
IRE Key Players
Andrew Balbirnie is looking in fine form with scores of 55 and 60 in the first two ODIs respectively and he will hold the key to Ireland's batting in this series decider. Paul Stirling seems to be getting back into his groove and one can expect him to play a good knock here. But the hosts will also need useful contributions from their skipper William Porterfield at the top. Kevin O'Brien on his day can be a big threat with both bat and ball. Tim Murtagh has claimed a four-wicket haul in each of the two games and he will be his skipper's go-to man when it comes to bowling. Boyd Rankin and Peter Chase too have bowled well in both the matches and have been able to maintain constant pressure on the Afghan batsmen.
IRE Recent Form
Ireland have now won three and lost as many of their last six one-day internationals. After going down to Afghanistan in the series opener by 29 runs, the hosts fought back in the second game to level the series 1-1. However, it was not a very satisfactory win for Ireland as they almost made a mess of what should have been a pretty comfortable chase.
Ireland Predicted Playing 11
William Porterfield (c), Paul Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie, Niall O'Brien (wk), Simi Singh, Kevin O'Brien, Gary Wilson, Andy McBrine, Tim Murtagh, Boyd Rankin, Peter Chase
Afghanistan Team News & Playing 11
AFG Team News
Afghanistan made a couple of changes to their side for the second ODI. They replaced Ihsanullah Janat with wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Shahzad at the top of the order and Shafiqullah Shafiq with Najibullah Zadran. The visitors, despite being beaten in the last game, are expected to go in with an unchanged line-up.
AFG Key Players
Afghanistan will rely mainly on the likes of Hazratullah Zazai, Gulbadin Naib and Asghar Afghan to score the big runs for them. Hazratullah was their best batsman in the T20I series with 156 runs in two matches and it will be crucial that he transfers that form into the longer version of the game. There will also be plenty of hopes pinned on Gulbadin who struck a half-century in the opening ODI. Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi have been the standout performers from this bowling group. The former has taken five wickets so far while the latter has four. Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been very economical and he will look to tighten the screws in the middle overs. Aftab Alam is another bowler who could peg back Ireland with early strikes.
AFG Recent Form
The three-wicket loss to Ireland in the last game was Afghanistan's first defeat in their last six one-day internationals. They now have nine wins and five defeats from fourteen ODIs this year. Afghanistan had a rough day with the bat in the second match of the ongoing series as they could manage only 182 while batting first. Their bowlers, however, did well to make a match out of it and gave the hosts a big scare.
Afghanistan Predicted Playing 11
Mohammad Shahzad (wk), Hazratullah Zazai, Gulbadin Naib, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Asghar Afghan (c), Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Rashid Khan, Aftab Alam, Mujeeb Ur Rahman
