Who will win Hong Kong vs Oman, T20 WCQ 2019?
In-form Oman take on struggling Hong Kong in their second match in Group B of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi. The match, at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, takes place on October 20 and the live action begins at 14:10 local time.
Oman have won their last five matches in a row – starting with a win against Hong Kong in Muscat – and their bowlers led them to a big win against UAE to kick this qualifier off in style. Fayyaz Butt and Bilal Khan each took three wickets as they restricted the hosts to 108/9 and won by seven wickets.
Hong Kong have lost their last five in a row, meanwhile. Hit by the withdrawal of several experienced players just ahead of this qualifier, they suffered defeat to Ireland first up. Kinchit Shah hit 79 from 54 balls in a total of 153/5, but they took just two wickets as Ireland romped home with 2.4 overs to spare.

Hong Kong Team News & Playing 11
HK Team News
Hit by the withdrawals of several key players, including Babar Hayat and Anshuman Rath, before the squad for this series was named, Hong Kong handed a debut to Simandeep Singh last time out.
HK Key Players
Kinchit Shah: The 23-year-old needs to step up now but has come into this match in good form. He hit 48 in the final warm-up game and followed that up with his first T20i half-century when he smashed 79 from 54 balls against Ireland.
Kyle Christie: Took five wickets in four games at the Oman Pentangular Series to lead the Hong Kong wicket-taking charts in his first taste of T20i action.
Haroon Arshad: The only Hong Kong batsman to score a half-century in Muscat, the 20-year-old has made a strong start to his T20i career – he averages 50.66 after four innings, with a strike rate of 140.74.
HK Team Form
Hong Kong, after the flurry of big names who turned their back on the team, lost all four matches in the Oman Pentangular Series and then started this series with a defeat too. An improved batting performance, led by Kinchit Shah’s 79 from 54 balls, helped them to 153/5 but they could not defend it as Ireland reached 155/2 in just 17.2 overs in reply.
Hong Kong Predicted Playing 11

Oman Team News & Playing 11
OMAN Team News
Khurram Nawaz and Sandeep Goud took the two open spaces in the Oman team for the first game against the UAE, though neither was needed with bat or ball. Each did take a wicket in the field though – a catch for Goud and a run-out for Nawaz – and it is likely to be an unchanged Oman team for this game.
OMAN Key Players
Aamir Kaleem: After nine wickets in the Pentangular Series, the all-rounder bowled two overs for nine last time out and then hit 27 from 19 balls with the bat to play his part in a comfortable Oman win.
Khawar Ali: Out without scoring at the top of the order, but he had earlier continued his good bowling form by claiming 1-15 from three overs with the ball. In the Pentangular Series, he had become the first Oman bowler to claim a T20i hat-trick.
Zeeshan Maqsood: Scored an unbeaten 39 when these teams last met, and he is a useful bowling option too – though he elected not to bowl last time out. The Oman captain did score 16* to complete the chase, however.
OMAN Team Form
Oman are in excellent form, winning four from four at the Pentangular Series, triumphing in both warm-up games and then opening this tournament by thrashing the hosts. Fayyaz Butt and Bilal Khan each took three wickets as the UAE struggled to 108/9, and Oman won by seven wickets with ten balls remaining.
Oman Predicted Playing 11

Hong Kong vs Oman Head to Head
Oman have played more T20 internationals against Hong Kong than any other country, and their victory in the Pentangular Series this month was their fifth in six previous meetings. Oman then needed just 13.5 overs to seal a seven-wicket win.
