The Dolphins will bank on their openers Vaughn van Jaarsveld and Sarel Erwee to take them off to a good start. Erwee's temperament has been very impressive and he is one of the season's leading run-scorers with 364 runs at an average of 91. He and Jaarsveld scored 105 and 83 respectively in the last week's reverse encounter at Port Elizabeth and the duo will be expected to replicate that performance. Khaya Zondo and Dane Vilas are the team's biggest hopes with the bat in the middle order. Andile Phehlukwayo has returned to boost both the batting and bowling departments and he will be the key man for the Dolphins on Thursday. The hosts will also look to Okuhle Cele, Prenelan Subrayen and Keshav Maharaj to do a good job with the ball. Okuhle has been the standout with 10 wickets in 6 matches and the fast bowler is coming off a four wicket-haul in the previous rain-abandoned match against the Lions.

Both are amongst the season's top five bowlers with 13 wickets each and they will be crucial to the team's chances of reaching the final.
