AUS vs PAK 2nd Test Match Prediction & Betting Tips
Australia and Pakistan go head to head at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the Boxing Day Test which begins on Tuesday. The opening game of the series took place in Perth earlier this month and saw Australia easily win by 360 runs. Read on as we preview the Second Test of the three-match series. The Test begins in Melbourne at 10:30 local time.
It was a dominant performance from Australia in Perth who got on top of Pakistan on the first day and never let them back into the game. Playing in front of a big Boxing Day crowd at the MCG is something which inspires Australians to new heights and we expect another big win in Melbourne.
Conditions in Australia are always very different to those in Pakistan Test venues and the weather forecast for Melbourne is for cooler days than in Perth. Pakistan need one of their batters to stand up and put in a big score if they are to be competitive in this Test.

- Nathan Lyon- the experienced off-spinner had not played Test cricket since injuring his calf during the Lord’s Test in June. But he was back bowling at his best in the last game and went past 500 Test wickets.

The big win at the Perth Stadium ended a run of three matches without a victory in this format for Australia.

After their dominant display and big margin of victory in Perth, it is no surprise to see Australia as heavy favourites at 1.28. Pakistan are a long shot to win at 13.00.
Who will win Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test Match?
There are some fine players in this Pakistan team but they stand very little chance against this Australia group who are the World Test Champions and are virtually unstoppable at home. Australia are the top team ahead of this Boxing Day Test.
🏆 Australia vs Pakistan Prediction
Whenever Australia play Test cricket at home, the opposition knows they are in for a very tough assignment with long spells in the field and the batters likely to take the attack to them. Since the start of the 1980s, Pakistan have won only two Tests in Australia and we are not expecting them to make it three in this game. Australia are at full strength with their top players in excellent form. Our prediction is for Australia to win.
