A loss against Brisbane Heat in their previous match has got Adelaide Strikers into deep trouble. With just three wins in 9 games they’re placed in the bottom half of the table and desperately need a win to revive their tournament. Strikers have been over dependent on Laura Wolvaardt and Tahila McGrath, both have been very good with the bat. Stephanie Taylor too has some runs behind her. However, Adelaide Strikers would like to see some runs from Amanda Wellington and Katie Mack. In Sarah Cyote, Amanda Wellington and Megan Schutt, Adelaide have a quality bowling attack who’s been outstanding for Strikers.

Sydney Sixers on the other hand have completely lost their way after three back to back wins. Ellyse Perry and Alyssa Healy have been phenomenal but have lacked support from the other players. Asheligh Gardner has been a major disappointment. Erin Burns looked like finding some form against Hobart Hurricanes which will be a big boost. In Alyssa Campbell, Ellyse Perry, Ash Gardner, Marizanne Kapp, Dan van Neikerk, they’ve a very strong bowling line up that can create problems for Hurricanes batsmen.

Even though Sixers have lost their last three matches, they’re a better team on paper and will be confident of pocketing a win against Strikers
