Afghanistan is certainly growing stronger with every match they play. They have gained a lot of confidence and respect after defeating England, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the ODI World Cup 2023.
Coming to this Test match, Afghanistan squad looks quite strong with the likes of Ibrahim Zadran, Noor Ali Zadran, Hashmatullah, Rahmat Shah at the batting line-up. But they lack experience in the bowling department.
Beating Sri Lanka at their home grounds in red-ball is quite difficult. They look all set with a combination of experience and young talent. Afghanistan can try to give a good fight but Sri Lanka can clinch a win in this Test match with their home advantage.
