South Africa is set to tour Australia for 3 Tests and as many ODIs starting from 17th December, 2022. The 3 Test matches will form a part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship which is currently led by the Australian Test team under Pat Cummins.
The 3-match ODI series which will start from 12th January, 2023 will be counted in the 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
