Zimbabwe vs West Indies Prediction

Shai Hope seems to be in good form and the Windies will expect him to play a big knock at the top of the order. With a 47 against Sri Lanka and a hundred against the hosts, Hope is going to be their best hope with the bat. Kraigg Brathwaite also scored a fifty against Zimbabwe and we expect him to make a major contribution in this match as well.

Carlos Brathwaite was the pick of the bowlers against Zimbabwe. He ran through the top-order and finished with excellent figures of 4-48 from 10 overs. West Indies will want him to make some early in-roads in this match and if he does, Zimbabwe would find themselves in a lot of trouble. Shannon Gabriel too will be a big threat to the hosts but we predict Brathwaite to take the most wickets.

West Indies and Zimbabwe have faced each other five times in ODIs at the Queens Sports Club. The former definitely have an edge here as they have won three times while the latter have won just once. However, the hosts did well to tie their match against them last week and this is going to lift their spirits as they head into this match. With that said, it is still going to take a lot more effort from them to beat a quality side like the West Indies who will now be coming better prepared this time around.

Zimbabwe may have an outside chance if their players are able to perform the way they did last time. But we predict West Indies to come back stronger and win this match.
