Bangladesh are favourites to win
Zimbabwe host Bangladesh in the second of three IT20 games at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday afternoon. The opening match of the series was won by Zimbabwe who restricted Bangladesh to 188-6 after posting 205-3 earlier in the fixture. Read on as we preview this IT20 with the home side knowing that a victory will seal the series. The game gets underway at 13:00 local time.
Zimbabwe’s wins earlier this month were dismissed as easy wins over poor opposition but beating Bangladesh will make others stop and take notice. The team are flying with bat and ball.
Even without some of their best players in this series, Bangladesh should have enough to emerge as winners. However, it may take a mind-set shift as they have become accustomed to losing in this format.

The only injury doubt for Zimbabwe ahead of this game is Wesley Madhevere who had to retire hurt after diving for a second run in the final over of the innings. Although there has been no official word, based on the incident, we expect him to be fit enough to take the field in this match as the hosts aim to wrap up the series.
The hosts have now registered six IT20 victories on the bounce. After winning the World Cup Qualifier B, the win over Bangladesh is a real step up.

Bangladesh have now lost four successive games in this format. They have not won successive games in IT20s since beating Papua New Guinea and Oman in October.

In spite of Zimbabwe enjoying a win on Saturday, the bookies have retained their faith in Bangladesh and are backing the Tigers to level the series.
We saw two half-centuries from the bats of Zimbabweans on Saturday and three Bangladeshis making scores over 30. There will certainly be plenty of runs in the surface for this game also.

Due to the poor form of Bangladesh in the shortest format, it was not a huge surprise to see them on the receiving end of the scoreline on Saturday. However there were some green shoots with the performances of five of their batters giving encouragement. We are predicting a close match with Bangladesh getting the win.
