West Indies are favorites to win
After three consecutive losses, a desperate West Indies side will be hoping to turn things around when they go up against an upbeat New Zealand side on June 22. The 29th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup will be played at the Old Trafford in Manchester and live telecast is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM local time.
TV channels: Star Sports, Star Cricket, Fox Sports, Sky Sports, Ten Sports, SuperSport, OSN Sports Cricket HD, Gazi TV
Live Streaming: Bet365, Hotstar, Foxtel Go, Sky Go, Now TV, OSN Play
The team that wins the toss in this match will want to bat first and put the scoreboard pressure on the opposition.
No rain has been forecast for Saturday and so we should have a full 100-over game. It will be partly cloudy throughout the duration of the match with intermittent sunny spells and the temperature is expected to be 18-20 degrees Celsius.
The wicket has looked pretty flat in both the matches that have been played at the Old Trafford in this World Cup and the side batting first has won quite comfortably on both the occasions. There won’t be much swing on offer for the seamers and they will have to rely on pace variations alone.

West Indies went in with just the one change to their side in the previous match against Bangladesh - they dropped allrounder Carlos Brathwaite to include an extra batsman in Darren Bravo. Since the strategy did not pay much dividends, the Windies could bring back Brathwaite for this upcoming encounter against New Zealand. No further changes are expected in their line-up and the team seems to be free from all injury concerns at the moment.
Shai Hope: The West Indies number three is ranked fifth in the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen. He is currently the leading run-getter for the team in this World Cup with 186 runs in four innings and has cracked a couple of half-centuries, including the 96 in the last game against Bangladesh.
Shimron Hetmyer: With Andre Russell not being able to bring his impressive IPL form into the World Cup, the West Indian middle-order batting seems to rely heavily on Shimron Hetmyer who is averaging 39 and is having a strike-rate of 106.36. He has scored 39 and 50 in his previous two outings and will look to continue his good form against the Kiwis.
Oshane Thomas: The paceman has so far been the most successful of the West Indian bowlers this World Cup. He has picked up seven wickets in five matches but would want to improve his economy rate which is currently 6.60. His 4-27 broke the back of Pakistan's batting at Nottingham.
Sheldon Cottrell: The left-arm fast bowler has taken five wickets in as many matches and is having an acceptable economy rate of 5.80. He will probably be leading the West Indian bowling attack and it will be mainly up to him to provide the early breakthroughs with the new ball.
West Indies have managed to win just one out of the five matches they have played so far in this Cricket World Cup. With three points in the bag, they are currently positioned seventh on the CWC 2019 points table and must now win all four of their remaining matches to have any chance of progressing to the semi-finals. The seven-wicket loss to Bangladesh in their previous game at Taunton was their third consecutive defeat in the tournament. The Windies were let down by their bowlers last time as they failed to defend a big total of 321.

New Zealand have stuck with the same group of eleven since their opening encounter against Sri Lanka in Cardiff, and given the way they have been performing, it makes little sense to tinker with the winning combination. So once again, the Kiwis might resist the temptation of giving Ish Sodhi and Henry Nicholls a try. Tim Southee is also waiting in the reserves and it looks like he will have to wait a little longer.
Kane Williamson: The New Zealand skipper is amongst the top ten run-scorers in the CWC 2019 with 225 runs in three innings. He is having an incredible average of 225 and is coming off a match-winning knock of 106 not-out against South Africa.
Ross Taylor: The Kiwi veteran is the world's third-best batsman in the game's fifty-over format. His last three innings' scores read: 82, 48, 1. He would have been very disappointed after being dismissed cheaply last time and will be keen to make amends.
Lockie Ferguson: The pace bowler has come as a pleasant surprise for the Black Caps in this World Cup. He has shadowed Trent Boult and is one of the tournament's leading wicket-takers with 11 wickets in four games. His three-wicket haul derailed the South African innings last time.
Matt Henry: He has notched seven wickets so far at more than decent economy of 4.66 and had returned impressive figures of 4-47 against Bangladesh at the Oval. He has been the team's second-best bowler in the tournament and will look to dismantle the West Indian top-order early on.
New Zealand have been on a roll this year in the 50-over format, winning 11 out of their 15 matches including the last 7 on the trot. They are sitting pretty at the pole position on the CWC 2019 leaderboard with four wins and a washout from five games. The Black Caps secured a hard-fought four-wicket win over South Africa in their last match in Birmingham which was reduced to 49 overs per side. The victory was mainly set up by their bowlers who restricted the Proteas to a sub-par total of 241.

West Indies and New Zealand have played 57 completed one-day internationals against each other in the past with the former leading the scoreline 30-27.
New Zealand have won six of the last seven ODIs they have played against the Windies, including the last four straight. The Kiwis registered a 66-run victory in the most recent encounter which came in December 2017 at Christchurch.
The two teams have never faced each other at the Old Trafford in the 50-over format of the game.

New Zealand are red-hot favorites to win this match at 1.57 with Betway and 1.66 with Bet365 and Betrally. West Indies are the underdogs amongst the bookmakers and are being offered at a higher price of 2.20 on Bet365 and 2.25 on Betway and Betrally.
We have picked our eleven for the Dream11 after taking into account the current form of all the players playing in this match.
Batsmen
From the West Indies, we have picked Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran in our Dream11 team. Although Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis are the big guns, we feel they will be vulnerable early on against the likes of Trent Boult and Matt Henry. Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson are the two batsmen from New Zealand that make their way into our line-up. Williamson has made strong contributions every time he has walked out to bat in this World Cup.
Bowlers
Lockie Ferguson is currently on top of his game and he has been the best bowler for New Zealand in this tournament which is why we have picked him in our Dream11 line-up. Trent Boult has not taken too many wickets until now but we feel that the pacer will return to full flow against the Windies. We have also included Oshane Thomas and Sheldon Cottrell who have been very impressive for their side.
All-rounders
West Indies' Andre Russell and New Zealand's Colin de Grandhomme seem good options for the all-rounders slot. Russell has done a decent job with the ball so far, picking five wickets in four matches. He is yet to hit form with the bat, but since the Windies now have nothing to lose, he will look to play fearlessly and that's when he is at his brutal best. As for Colin de Grandhomme, his blazing 47-ball 60 against South Africa will give him plenty of confidence and he has done alright with the ball as well having chipped in with a wicket each time.
Wicketkeeper
Picking Shai Hope as the wicketkeeper instead of Tom Latham would be a better choice. The former is showing impressive form and has scored the most runs for the West Indies in this World Cup. Hope also has a chance to score more runs as he bats higher up the order as compared to Latham who is slotted in the middle order.
Captain
We have picked Shai Hope as the captain of our Dream11 team.
Vice-captain
We have picked Kane Williamson as the vice-captain of our Dream11 team.

The campaigns of New Zealand and West Indies in this World Cup are heading in completely opposite directions. While the former are moving closer to securing their spot in the semi-finals, the latter are drifting away and find themselves on the brink of elimination. The Kiwis certainly have the upper hand when it comes to head-to-head record and they will also be carrying plenty of momentum with them having won their last seven ODIs in a row. But being placed in a comfortable position often leads to complacency and this is exactly what can happen to New Zealand on Saturday. The Windies, whose semi-final hopes are hanging by a thread, will be desperate for a win and ready to cash in on the opportunities offered by their opponents.
