Who will win West Indies vs India, 3rd T20?
West Indies and India move into the Caribbean after India’s tour started with two wins in Florida. The third and final game of this T20i series takes place at Providence Stadium, Guyana on August 6, and the live action starts at 10:30 local time.
India, already assured of series victory, may take the opportunity to rotate their players for this game, with one eye on the World T20 next year. Deepak Chahar and Shreyas Iyer are among the players waiting in the wings.
West Indies will want to bounce back from their losing start to this series, meanwhile. Their batting fell short in both games and they have currently played out four maidens across the two games. While they only have pride to play for in this series, they do need to start building for next year’s World T20 too.

WI vs IND Toss Prediction
India have won both tosses so far, so West Indies are due a change in fortune. Given the pitch could favour spin bowling, West Indies will probably want to bat first on it so as not to give the Indian spinners any assistance later in the day.
WI vs IND Weather Report
The change in location has not heralded a change in weather conditions, with scattered thunderstorms forecast all week in Guyana. It will be hot and sticky, with humidity high, though the clouds should clear in the evening if the match as to be pushed back that far.
WI vs IND Pitch Condition
The Providence pitch was relaid a couple of years back, with the aim being to produce a wicket that encourages high scores. Spin bowlers have a good track record here, however, so it can rightly be considered balanced.

WI Team News
West Indies’ tweaked their batting line-up last time out, with Sunil Narine opening the batting – as he has done so often in franchise tournaments. That meant John Campbell dropping out and opened up an extra bowling slot for Khary Pierre. Pierre’s spin bowling is likely to be called upon again at Providence.
WI Key Players
Rovman Powell: Ended a run of bad scores with his half-century in the last game. It was his second T20i 50, just as questions were being raised about what he offers the T20 side.
Sheldon Cottrell: With four wickets in two matches in this series, with an economy rate of less than a run a ball, the saluting fast bowler’s star continues to rise.
Sunil Narine: Pushed up the order, the all-rounder failed to take his chance last time out but boasts the record in franchise cricket to deserve another crack at it. With the ball, he took 2-14 from his four overs in the first game and was economical enough in the second game too.
WI Team Form
In West Indies’ last ten T20 internationals, they have lost eight of them. Their only wins were in their successful series against Bangladesh, but they are facing a second consecutive whitewash after losing the first two matches of this series.
Batting has been their issue – a run-a-ball 49 from Kieron Pollard in the first game and a 34-ball 54 by Rovman Powell last time out not enough to paper over the cracks.

Evin Lewis, Sunil Narine, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Carlos Brathwaite (c), Kieron Pollard, Khary Pierre, Sheldon Cottrell, Keemo Paul, Oshane Thomas
