Warwickshire will take on Northamptonshire Steelbacks in the 2022 Vitality Blast. The game will be played at the Edgbaston starting at 18:30 local time on Thursday May 26th.

Warwickshire won their last two group stage fixtures, including against Northamptonshire Steelbacks in their final game, to finish fourth and qualify for the knockout stage of the 2021 Vitality Blast. Although they will be without England all-rounder Chris Woakes for the early part of the tournament at least, their returning captain, Carlos Brathwaite, and Paul Stirling make for exceptionally exciting overseas signings. However, ahead of this year, they have secured the signatures of two experienced and top level white ball specialists in Australia’s Chris Lynn and New Zealand’s Jimmy Neesham. With the bat, apart from the overseas stars, their main source of runs will once again be Ricardo Vaconcelos and Rob Keogh. Graeme White took 15 wickets in 2021 and even at the age of 35, we expect his left-arm spin to be a threat.
