As a result, the Steelbacks, who were relying on an extraordinary selection of results, will not be able to finish in the top 4. They have won only four games all campaign with the wins all coming between June 23rd and June 30th. However, a defeat against Lancashire Lightning on July 9 left them with a tough assignment to qualify.
