Against an in-form Guyana Amazon Warriors, their own in-form players all shone with the ball as they rolled them over for just 55. In reply, the Zouks needed just 27 balls to complete an astonishing ten-wicket win.

  • Kieron Pollard: Starred with bat and ball when these teams last met, having hit some seriously good form in the last few matches he has played.

St Lucia Zouks Team News & Playing 11

St Lucia Zouks Team News

Rahkeem Cornwall and Mark Deyalhave become St Lucia Zouks’ favoured opening partnership at the top of the order and they were the only two batsman needed last time out. That was undoubtedly the Zouks’ top XI on form so far, and it is unlikely they will make any changes.

St Lucia Zouks Key Players

  • Roston Chase: Continued a good tournament with 2-15 with the ball last time out, having also enjoyed some useful batting form.
  • Mohammad Nabi: Returned superb bowling figures of 1-6 from three overs, including a maiden, last time out to continue an excellent few weeks.
  • Scott Kuggeleijn: Struck twice in the opening over as he set up a stunning win last time out and maintained his phenomenal wicket-taking form in the process.

St Lucia Zouks Team Form

St Lucia Zouksended the group stage by beating Jamaica Tallawahs by 11 runs after an excellent comeback with the ball defending 145/6. Zahir Khan and Javelle Glen each took three wickets to stall the chase in that game, while every bowler contributed to their stunning win against Guyana in the semi-final. Scott Kuggeleijn struck twice in the first over to set the tone and the Zouks never looked back. Guyana were dismissed for just 55 – losing the last our wickets without scoring – and St Lucia needed just 4.3 overs to seal victory.

TKR vs STZ Head to Head

Trinbago Knight Riders have absolutely dominated this fixture in the past, with their two wins already this season taking them to 12 in 16 matches in total. St Lucia have won just two, with two others cut short by the rain. So far this season, Trinbago won a rain-affected game, after Dwayne Bravo’s 500th T20 wicket had helped keep St Lucia’s scoring rate down. The second match was a higher-scoring affair last week, but Darren Bravo’s half-century and Kieron Pollard’s 3-35 – after his own cameo with the bat – were the key differences in Trinbago’s 23-run win.

TKR vs STZ Dream11 Prediction

  • Wicket-keeper:

While he has dropped to number three in the batting order, Andre Fletcher remains a key batsman for St Lucia Zouks and at nine credits remains a good pick too. Tim Siefert is 8.5 credits but is less prominent with the bat for the Knight Riders.

  • Batsmen:

Lendl Simmons is nine credits and right back in form and, with team-mate Colin Munro’s availability unknown, Tion Webster could be a good pick at 8.5 credits after his form in his place lately. Mark Deyal has the advantage of being up the order for St Lucia and bowling the odd over too – it is between him and Darren Bravo for the final place.

  • All-rounders:

Both teams have some serious all-round talent but with Sunil Narine’s availability inconsistent in recent matches, it might be a safer choice to leave him out and go for Mohammad Nabi, Kieron Pollard and Roston Chase. All three are expensive, meaning it might be too much of a stretch to also pick Dwayne Bravo. Javelle Glen is eight credits and his bowling ability means that could be worth it to balance costs.

  • Bowlers:

Selecting Glen means you have enough to pick in-form Scott Kuggeleijn at 9.5 credits. His wicket-taking form makes him hard to ignore. Fawad Ahmed has found some wicket-taking form of late, however, and comes in at 8.5 credits and AkealHosein and Zahir Khan are in the same boat and both are 8.5 credits too. Hosein’s semi-final form might give him the edge.

  • Captain/Vice-captain

Mohammad Nabi’s all-round form makes him a tempting, albeit safe, option for captain. Kieron Pollard might be a bigger gamble but he starred with bat and ball when these teams last met. For vice-captain behind Pollard, Scott Kuggeleijn’s wicket-taking form is hard to ignore.

TKR vs STZ Dream11 Team Prediction

  • Batsmen:Darren Bravo, Lendl Simmons, Tion Webster

  • All Rounder:Kieron Pollard (c), Mohammad Nabi, Roston Chase

  • Wicket Keeper:Andre Fletcher

  • Bowler:Fawad Ahmed, AkealHosein, Scott Kuggeleijn (vc)
