Trinbago Knight Riders vs Barbados Tridents, CPL T20
Trinbago Knight Riders take on defending champions Barbados Tridents as they look to make it three wins from three at the start of the 2020 Caribbean Premier League. The match, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, takes place on August 23 and the live action starts at 10:00 local time.
Trinbago kicked off the tournament with a four-wicket win against Guyana Amazon Warriors – Sunil Narine taking two wickets and hitting a half-century – and he hit another in the match against Jamaica Tallawahs next up. Trinbago won by seven wickets to ensure they were the only team to win both of their opening matches.
Barbados Tridents, meanwhile, started their title defence with a narrow win against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. They lost their second game to St Lucia Zouks, however – a rain-affected match in which the Zouks smashed 50/3 in 4.1 overs to seal a DLS-method victory.
