The Shield Final at the ECS Estonia T10 tournament pits the two winless teams together, as Group A’s Tartu Vikings meet Group B’s Eesti Tigers. The match, at the Estonia National Cricket and Rugby Field, Tallinn, takes place on July 26 and the live action starts at 16:30 local time.
The Vikings are a merger of the two bottom teams in the Estonian T20 Premier League but they started this tournament with two defeats. They scored 65/7 in a ten-wicket defeat to Tallinn Rising Stars and then limped to 48/7 in a 51-run loss to Tallinn Hippos.
Eesti Tigers fared little better, although they were in a tougher group at least They scored 72/5 in a ten-wicket defeat to Tallinn United and 75/5 in a 71-run defeat to Tallinn Stallions. They are third in the Estonian T20 Premier League, however, to show there is a lot more about them than they have proved in this tournament.
