The latter failed to trouble the scorers but he could be given another opportunity to secure his place in the side. The Stars are coming off a win and so they might go into this game unchanged.
Marcus Stoinis: He has scored the most runs for Melbourne Stars this BBL - 155 runs at an average of 51.66. The opening batsman had smashed an unbeaten 81 off 54 balls against Hobart Hurricanes at Victoria.
Glenn Maxwell: The captain is having an impressive strike-rate of 191.04. The in-form all-rounder has a couple of good knocks from his three innings and can be more than handy with his off-spin.
Adam Zampa: He has been one of the most impressive bowlers for the Stars this season. The canny leg-spinner has picked six wickets in four matches at a healthy economy rate of 6.92.
Like last season, Melbourne Stars are having a good tournament. They have won three of their first four fixtures and are currently second on the BBL 2019-20 points table with six points. They beat Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes in their opening two games before losing to Adelaide Strikers in a close encounter. The Stars then bounced back with a four-run victory over Hobart Hurricanes in their last match.
