Sydney Sixers Women are favorites to win
Sydney Sixers will look to continue their table-topping form when they take on Melbourne Renegades in their latest Women’s Big Bash League fixture. The match takes place on November 17 at Sydney’s Drummoyne Oval, and the live action starts at 14:10 local time.
The Sixers returned to the top of the table by beating Sydney Thunder last time out, as Ellyse Perry’s superb batting form continued. She has scored four half-centuries on her way to 432 runs in eight innings. Having only been dismissed four times, she averages 108 so far.
The Renegades have also returned to form, however – back-to-back wins against Hobart Hurricanes taking them to eight points. A win in this game will keep them in the top group in the table, but defeat could open up a gap.

Live streaming: Cricket Australia Network, Kayo
Sydney Sixers have lost the toss in each of their last two matches but have batted first and won. They may choose to bat first as a result if they win the toss this time.
Scattered thunderstorms are forecast earlier in the day, and there will still be plenty of wind around in Sydney in the afternoon, though that should also blow any rain away.
A good pace and bounce to the Drummoyne Oval wicket means the pace bowlers will get some assistance but the pitch rewards good hitting too.

Sydney Sixers have been largely consistent with their starting line-up so far, with teenager Stella Campbell having returned to the team. There are unlikely to be any changes this time either, as they look to continue their winning form.
Ellyse Perry: The captain and opener has scored 432 runs in eight innings so far, including scores of 70* and 81 in the last two wins. She also hit 45* when these teams last met. In addition, Perry’s wicket against the Thunder as her fourth of the tournament.
Alyssa Healy: Another in fine form at the top of the order, the Australia wicket-keeper-batsman hit 40 last time out to follow up her 39 against Hobart. She has an unbeaten century to her name in this year’s tournament too, in the stunning win against Melbourne Stars.
Sarah Aley: Took 2-16 last time out to continue her good form in this tournament. The 35-year-old has now taken eight wickets in eight matches so far and has been economical throughout.
Sydney Sixers have won five of their last six matches now, after following up their 39-run win against Hobart Hurricanes by beating Sydney Thunder by 40 runs last time out. Ellyse Perry hit 70* from 56 balls in the former, as the Sixers posted 172/2, before Erin Burns’ 3-5 helped bowl the Hurricanes out for 133. The Renegades were unchanged for both wins against Hobart Hurricanes and that same 11 – with 21-year-old Carly Leeson in the team – could be retained to face the Sixers.
Jess Duffin: Hammered 75 in the first of the two wins against Hobart Hurricanes to continue her goo batting form, having hit 34* when these teams last met and 69 against Sydney Thunder too.
Danni Wyatt: The England opener hit 45* last time out against the Hurricanes, and also has two half-centuries to her name this season too. She has picked up two wickets too.
Molly Strano: Five wickets with her off-spin bowling across the two wins against Hobart Hurricanes proved her form. She now has 11 wickets in eight matches this season.
Melbourne Renegades have got back to winning ways with back-to-back victories against Hobart Hurricanes. Jess Duffin starred in their last-ball win in the first of those – the Hurricanes chasing 151 to win by four wickets off the final ball, with Duffin hitting 75 from 49 balls. Last time out, Molly Strano’s 3-19 restricted the Hurricanes to 108/8 and Danni Wyatt hit 45 to lead the Renegades to a comfortable eight-wicket win.

Sydney Sixers were the last team to beat the Renegades – their eight win in ten previous games against them. Their most recent win last season came after a tie in the semi-finals – the Sixers winning a super-over after both teams posted 131. It was a tense, low-scoring game again this season but Ellyse Perry’s unbeaten 45 guided the Sixers to a four-wicket win chasing 121. Dane van Niekerk had earlier led the bowling with 2-15 from her four overs.
