Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Chennai Super Kings in the 29th match of the Indian Premier League. The match will be played on the Dubai Cricket Ground and is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM local time.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be disappointed that they couldn’t get past Rajasthan Royals in their previous match. They were in the driving seat for most part of the match before Rahul Tewatiya and Riyan Parag snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat. The loss has pushed Hyderabad in an awkward position. With 3 wins and 4 losses, they’ve now placed at 5th place in the points table. There is still a long way to go in the tournament but another loss can severely dent their campaign. The good news is, they’ve not been that bad and had lots of positive from the previous game. The best news for Hyderabad camp is the form of David Warner, who’s been outstanding in the last few games. Yes, his strike rate is little on the lower side but he’s a batsmen that’ll take you through to a big score if bats a decent amount of overs. Along with him, Manish Pandey too is back among the runs and so does Kane Williamson. Lower middle order is slightly susceptible but in the previous games we’ve seen that Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma are very capable of scoring big runs.  In the bowling, all everyone is performing decently. Rashid Khan is on fire in the tournament and has got a good support from the pacers.

Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand have looked too clumsy. There bowling is doing fine but batting is a big, big concern. Apart from Ambati Rayudu and Faf du Plessis, none has been up to the mark. Watson played a good knock against Punjab but has been very inconsistent. MS Dhoni looks like he’s way past his prime and Bravo and Jadeja too have been disappointing. With 5 losses in 7 games, Chennai need to bring up their A game if they’re to stay alive in the competition. They need to win almost all of their matches to qualify which is difficult, but not impossible. With his back against the wall, MS Dhoni has always delivered and CSK fans will be hoping for another magic from their skipper. Having said that getting past Hyderabad won’t be that easy but still we would like to put our bet on CSK because they’re in a nothing to lose situation and can be very dangerous.
