The Patriots will be counting on their opening pair of Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis to take them off to a blazing start. Gayle has hit the most runs for them so far in this year's Caribbean Premier Premier League and they should find themselves in a strong position if he gets going. Devon Thomas had smashed a 34-ball 58 in the reverse encounter against the Knight Riders and he will be expected to replicate that performance. With the ball, the Patriots will rely mainly on the likes of Ben Cutting, Sheldon Cottrell and Carlos Brathwaite to take wickets and keep the opposition's scoring-rate in check. Cutting has been the team's best bowler this season with eight wickets in six matches. Brathwaite was the pick of the lot last time against Guyana Amazon Warriors while Cottrell will be their best bet to strike early with the new ball.

The team's batting will depend largely on their stalwarts Chris Lynn, Colin Munro, Darren Bravo and Brendon McCullum. Munro is currently third on the CPL 2018 runs charts and has hit three half-centuries this season. McCullum scored 66 runs off 42 balls in the last match against Barbados Tridents and it will be crucial from the team's perspective that he continues to bat well. Sunil Narine is another vital cog in Trinbago's line-up. He can not only provide important runs with the bat but can also turn the game on its head with the ball. Ali Khan and Fawad Ahmed with nine and eight wickets apiece in the tournament are the other two bowlers in the side who could cause a few problems for the Patriots. Dwayne Bravo is expected to play the role of a finisher down the order and he can swing the momentum in his team's favor with a tight spell at the backend of the innings.

Trinbago Knight Riders are the bookmakers' favorites to win this game at short odds of 1.61 on Betway. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on the other hand are outsiders at a higher price of 2.20 with the same bookmaker. Betfair, however, is offering odds of 1.30 on both the teams to win this match.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have the home advantage on their side but they will be well aware of the fact that they have lost their last two matches at this ground. Trinbago Knight Riders have the upper hand in that they have beaten the Patriots six times out of nine in the history of the tournament. The hosts will gain confidence from having outplayed the Knight Riders earlier this season but it won't be easy for them to win this time as they would be up against an in-form Trinbago Knight Riders side that has won its previous three matches in a row. So although both teams seem pretty evenly matched on paper, we feel that the Knight Riders have a better chance of pulling this one off.
Final Verdict: Back Trinbago Knight Riders to beat St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at 1.61 on Betway and 1.30 on Betfair.
