The third and final IT20 between Sri Lanka and Australia takes place on Saturday evening at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy. Australia won Tuesday’s opener by 10 wickets and the second game of the series by 3 wickets on Wednesday. Read on as we preview this match. Sri Lanka were far more competitive on Wednesday but were still beaten with 13 balls remaining. More runs from the top order will be required in this game if they are to really threaten Australia.

In spite of suffering a heavy defeat in the series opener in Colombo on Tuesday, Sri Lanka showed faith in their team and selected the same XI for Wednesday’s game. We saw a much improved showing in the second match and will be surprised if there are any changes for the final IT20.
