• Wicket-keeper(s):
  
  Straight off there is a difficult choice to make. Jordan O’Brien and Jonathan Scamans, when they play, are among the key batsmen for their respective teams. Both merit selection without a doubt – but that would limit you to three all-rounders when there are so many to pick. If either misses out, it would help solve that conundrum. Scamans scored slowly last time out, while O’Brien dropped to three. It is a difficult job splitting them. O’Brien does play for the league leaders though, and the Rapids will need a big performance from him.
   
• Batsmen:
  
  Luckily, two of the key all-rounders are listed as batsmen – Peter Gallagher for SKK Rapids and Muhammad Imran for Empire CC Lions. Both are in good form and both are definite picks, especially Gallagher after his recent performances and promotion up the batting order. Opening partner Nathan Collins has rediscovered his best batting form, meanwhile, and he comes in at a great-value nine credits too.
   
• All-rounder(s):
  
  If you do opt for just one wicket-keeper, the choice of all-rounders is fairly simple. Amjad Sher is in excellent all-round form, Mahesh Tambe is a key bowler who has batted well at times too and taken stacks of wickets and Raaz Muhammad is the leading wicket-taker and third part of that excellent Empire bowling triumvirate. For SKK Rapids, Atif Rasheed is their key all-rounder and he is also in good form with bat and ball on the same level as Sher. If you go for two wicket-keepers, it is a tough choice of which Empire all-rounder to ditch.
   
• Bowlers:
  
  Shoaib Qureshi is another key all-rounder, and he is listed as a bowler. He has nine credits so far and Abdul Ghaffar – who bowled well when these teams last met – is the same price. If both play, both should be considered definite picks with Kushagra Bhatnagar as an alternative. For the Rapids, Yathu Vijayaratnam and Raja Waqas are both 8.5 credits and it is a choice between them.
   
• Captain/vice-captain:
  
  In total then, there are up to six key all-rounders to choose from for captain or vice-captain. Atif Rasheed is in good batting and bowling form for the Rapids, though Peter Gallagher’s recent form may give him an edge. Amjad Sher is up the order too, and while Mahesh Tambe and Raaz Muhammad have more wickets, Sher could star with both bat and ball in this one.
