Sharjah vs Abu Dhabi, Emirates D10 League
Table-topping Sharjah can seal first place in the Emirates D10 tournament group if they beat last-placed Abu Dhabi in their final group-stage match. The match takes place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on August 5 and the live action starts at 18:00 local time.
Sharjah have been in excellent form so far, winning eight of their nine matches. Most recently, Umair Ali picked up his 16th wicket in just nine matches to help them to a 15-run victory against Dubai. They have 16 points – two more than second-placed ECB Blues – and will be guaranteed to finish first in the league table if they win this match.
Abu Dhabi, on the other hand, have won just twice in eight games so far – a record that puts them bottom of the group on net run rate. They are level with Ajman and Dubai on four points and have not played since last Thursday, when they beat Ajman but then lost to Fujairah.

Toss Prediction
Sharjah have excelled bowling or batting first, but they have been particularly dominant doing the former.
Weather Report
A change of venue does not bring a change of weather, with Dubai still sweltering hot with no chance of rain.
Pitch Condition
The Dubai International Cricket Stadium is likely to favour batting as much as the ICC Academy did.
