Who will win Scotland vs Netherlands, 2nd T20?
The Netherlands will try again to get their Tri-Nation Series’ campaign under way against Scotland, after their first T20i against the hosts was rained off. The match will take place at Malahide on September 16, with the live action – weather-permitting – scheduled to start at 13:30.
The Dutch have added a few more experienced players to their squad compared to the team beaten heavily in the UAE. Stars like Ryan ten Doeschate, Roelof van der Merwe and Colin Ackermann will not join up until the T20 World Cup qualifier, however, leaving the Netherlands still a little light when it comes to senior players.
Scotland, by contrast, have named 14 players who will all fly out to the UAE after this series. Only Josh Davey does not feature of the squad selected for the T20 World Cup qualifier. Scotland lost their most recent T20i to the Dutch, but it was their experienced players who starred in a double victory in Amstelveen in last year’s meetings.

SCO vs NED Toss Prediction
If the conditions are overcast and the pitch heavy, bowling first could be the best option. The Dutch did exactly that when these teams last met and may choose to again if they win the toss.
SCO vs NED Weather Report
There is only a very low chance of rain forecast after the first match was called off, but conditions are still set to be cloudy, cool and overcast in Malahide.
SCO vs NED Pitch Condition
It is a balanced wicket at Malahide usually, but there is likely to be some dampness in the outfield and the pitch could be a little slower than usual too.

Kyle Coetzer: Dangerous at the top of the order and heads to Dublin on the back of his superb form in Scotland’s most recent ODI Tri Series in the new Cricket World Cup League 2. There, he scored three half-centuries – including a top score of 96 – in four innings.
Hamza Tahir: Starred in Amstelveen when these teams met in 2018 and is another to have been in excellent form during the Tri Series. He took ten wickets in three games.
George Munsey: Caught the eye with some of his big hitting in the Global T20 Canada and he has a T20i strike rate of 150.67 from his 24 Scotland appearances so far.

Uncapped Vikram Singh is in the Dutch squad, while Clayton Floyd and Bas de Leede also get another chance to impress before the likes of Ryan ten Doeschate, Colin Ackermann and Roelof van der Merwe return to travel to the UAE.
NED Key Players
Tobias Visee: Top-scored with 71 from 43 balls when these teams last met – one of the scores which has contributed to his T20i strike rate of 160. He also showed good form at the Global T20 Canada too.
Max O’Dowd: Twice passed 50 in the four matches against the UAE. He adds a good dynamic to the top of the order and his form has been consistent for the Dutch recently.
Pieter Seelaar: Useful with bat and ball and, of course, as captain. He is one of the more senior heads in an otherwise inexperienced squad.
NED Team Form
The Netherlands’ first match of this tournament was rained off. They made the trip to Dublin on the back of a young squad suffering a 4-0 series whitewash at the hands of the UAE. It followed a 1-1 series draw with Zimbabwe before that, with a much more experienced line-up.
