Prague Spartans Vanguards vs Brno Rangers ECN Czech Super Series
Brno Rangers, the final team to qualify for the ECN Czech T10 Super Series Championship Weekend, are also the final team to get their weekend underway. They take on Prague Spartans Vanguards at the Scott Page Field, Prague, on July 11 and the live action starts at 14:00 local time.
The Rangers beat their second and third XIs as well as Moravian CC to qualify for these finals. Though they boast international quality, their route to the Championship Weekend was definitely easier than that faced by some of the other teams.
Prague Spartans Vanguards qualified after beating Prague CC Knights in the final of their group. The Vanguards opened this weekend by playing Bohemian CC in the first match of the day.

Prague Spartans Vanguards barely changed their starting XI in the first group stage so they could be unchanged from their first match for this one too.
PSV Key Players
- Prasannaa Ganesan: Tidy with the ball and capable of big innings with the bat, as he showed in the Group B final.
- Neeraj Tyagi: Not only does he take regular wickets but he hardly concedes any runs too, with an excellent economy rate in the first group stage.
- Satyajit Sengupta: Has more to give with the bat in the top order but he did take key wickets in the first group.

Prague Spartans Vanguards bounced back from an initial loss to Prague CC Knights by beating them in the final of their group – with Prasannaa Ganesan their key batsman – to reach the Championship Weekend.

Brno Rangers Team News & Playing 11
BRG Team News
Saquib Sadiq could be back at the top of the order, as Brno Rangers likely continue with the same small and consistent squad that got them through the first group stage.
BRG Key Players
- Naveed Ahmed: The Czech international is usually a key bowler and picked up four wickets with a decent economy rate in the first group stage. Three of those came when it mattered, in the final.
- Ushan Gunathilake: Tidy behind the stumps and the Czech international wicket-keeper picked up some useful runs too.
- Rahat Ali: The paceman claimed eight wickets from his eight overs and fielded well too in the first group. He is also extremely economical with the ball – bowling two maidens in the final last time.
BRG Team Form
Brno Rangers had a relatively easy ride to the final, facing their 2nd XI and 3rd XI and newcomers Moravian CC in their group. Unsurprisingly, it was the Rangers against the Raiders – their 2nd XI – in the final and the Rangers’ class proved.
They posted 84/6 from their ten overs and, bowled superbly in reply, Rahat Ali took three wickets and bowled two maidens in a stunning spell, while Naveed Ahmed claimed 3-6 and Tripurari Kanhya Lal took 2-4. The end result was a resounding 43-run win.
