Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi are both looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Pakistan Super League after their respective opening defeats. The two teams meet in their second game of the group stage at Karachi’s National Stadium on February 23. The match starts at 19:00 local time.

Multan Sultans are looking to go one better than last season when, despite topping the table for the first time, they missed out on reaching the final after two play-off defeats. Mohammad Rizwan continued his fine form with 71 from 53 balls in the opening game against Islamabad United but the Sultans could not defend 150/8 – slipping to a three-wicket loss with an over to spare.

Peshawar Zalmi, meanwhile, could not make Ravi Bopara’s half-century and Saqib Mahmood’s 2-22 count for points in their first game. They posted 140/6, and lost to Lahore Qalandars by four wickets with nine balls still to bowl.
