Our Pick Pakistan are favourites to win
Following their T20I series win, Pakistan have sealed the three-match ODI series as well with an unassailable 2-0 lead over the West Indies. After setting up an imposing target of 338 runs, the hosts bowled well to the visitors who fell short by 59 runs.
The third and the final game of the series is scheduled to be played on October 5 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Live action will begin at 3 PM local time.

In the last six ODIs at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, all of which were day/night fixtures, 270+ has been achieved thrice in the first-innings. The highest successful chase here is 295. So anything between 270-290 should be a good first-innings total.
Five of these six games have been won by the side batting first. Also, 250+ has been scored only once in the second innings in these matches and the team that has batted second has been bowled out on four occasions. Thus, there is a toss bias here and whoever wins the toss is more likely to bat first.
Pakistan have won both the games in this series after batting first. So their chances of winning this match will increase if they bat first again.
Predicted Score: 280-290
Pakistan have a good chance of reaching the predicted score, especially with the way Babar Azam is going about his business. He was the highest run-scorer in the T20I series and now has back-to-back centuries in this series. He also made a fifty at this ground last year against England and looks well set to top-score again. Sarfraz Ahmed too has a fifty in his last match here and he scored an unbeaten 60 on Sunday. So expect him to come up with a valuable contribution as well.
The Pakistani batsmen will be up against Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwaite who both have three wickets each so far. West Indies will need these two fast bowlers to get the early wickets including that of danger man Babar Azam if they are stop the hosts from posting a huge score. Though Narine and Benn have not taken as many wickets as were expected of them, they have been economical and will be required to keep things tight in the middle overs once again.
Predicted Score: 260-270
They have not had a good opening stand on this tour yet and as such, it will be up to Darren Bravo and Marlon Samuels to do most of the work. Both struck fifties in the second game and they will have to get the big runs if West Indies are to get to around 270. Samuels batted well in the first game as well which makes him a favorite to top-score in this match.
The one bowler from Pakistan that could mean danger for the West Indian batting lineup apart from Mohammad Amir is Wahab Riaz. The pacer took three English scalps in his last game at this ground and also finished with impressive figures of 2-48 on Sunday. He, therefore, could be the top bowler for Pakistan in this match. If Samuels and Bravo are dismissed cheaply, West Indies might have to be content with a total much less than what we have predicted.
Pakistan have won 57 and lost 69 out of the 129 one-day internationals they have played against the West Indies till date. Three of these matches have resulted in a tie. The two teams have faced off three times at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in the past and all three of these games have been won by Pakistan.
West Indies may have a slightly better overall ODI record against Pakistan, but the latter have a 100% win record over the former at this ground. They, however, do not possess a great ODI record here which should keep the Windies interested. Of the 29 matches, they have won 13 and lost 16 which includes five defeats in their last six games.
The visitors are still searching for their first win of the tour and looking at their margins of defeats, it seems they might have to wait a little longer. There were encouraging signs from their batsmen the other night, and if they are able to replicate this performance coupled with an inspiring effort from the bowlers, they could very well fancy their chances on Wednesday.
But seeing how things have panned out so far, we don't expect West Indies to win anytime soon and therefore predict Pakistan to take the series 3-0.
